Fleur d’Ease is called Zany Lady’s basic flower for a reason. From it so many other variations can spring! Its petals can be made large or small, or of mixed sizes; multiple colors and textures can be used in the same flower. When felted, it lends itself well to beading and/or embroidery. This flower knits up quickly, is lightweight, and requires only 90 yards of Cascade 220 (held double) to make a medium-sized flower. Fleur d’Ease makes a handy pincushion, once felted—a perfect gift for any seamstress.
